Catherine McKenna, Principal at Yellow Brick Road Wangaratta, loves her local area because of the wonderful people, community spirit and many beautiful attractions.

Outside of work Catherine and her partner or 39yrs enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, family, and friends. They enjoy a range of sport from riding their horses, motorbikes weather depending, most water sports or just watching sport. Evenings often spent reading and listening to music by the indoor or outdoor fire pits. When time permits, they have enjoyed extensive travel both abroad and around our wonderful country. They love our great country having travelled through all states, from the Nullarbor up to the Pilbara, to Darwin or going to the iconic Birdsville Races, they have travelled down the red centre and up to the tablelands, to night diving on the Great Barrier Reef and down throughout Tasmania. They have chosen to return to Northeast Victoria to be closer to their family and friends enjoying all that the region has to offer.

Catherine has a wealth of experience having started her career in Local and State Government Community based roles, along with time in the Not-for-Profit community sector so understands the importance of the community spirit in regional areas. Before joining Yellow Brick Road catherine was the business owner of a project management company specialising in civil construction project with her partner.

By joining Yellow Brick Road Catherine saw the opportunity to personalise her services to customers enabling a comprehensive service tailored to the individual needs.

Catherine and her team and Yellow Brick Road in Wangaratta strongly believe in a personal and dedicated service with the goal to help find the best products that match the individual requirements putting her customers’ needs first.

Having grown up on a farm in North-East Victoria, Elle Lazzarotto knows the area and people well. She understands every person that walks through YBR doors will have unique circumstances, backgrounds and requirements. With her professional experience and genuine disposition, Elle can meet them on their journey to realising their dreams.

Elle completed a business degree at RMIT University before moving to Canberra to work as a project manager for the Australian Public Service. 

After nearly a decade living away from the area, North-East Victoria was calling, so she made the move home when offered a project management role at Mars Petcare. 

With four years of working on some of Australia’s (and the world’s) most well-known brands under her belt, Elle then decided to flex her entrepreneurial skills and purchased a hospitability and tourism motel business. After six rewarding years there, she took a career break to start her now family of four (and counting!) 

In her spare time (as kids permit), Elle loves camping, snow and water skiing, 4WDing and enjoying what the North-East Region has to offer – especially the wineries. Elle is now looking forward to using her diverse experience to best assist people from all walks of life at YBR Wangaratta.
