Catherine McKenna, Principal at Yellow Brick Road Wangaratta, loves her local area because of the wonderful people, community spirit and many beautiful attractions.

Outside of work Catherine and her partner or 39yrs enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, family, and friends. They enjoy a range of sport from riding their horses, motorbikes weather depending, most water sports or just watching sport. Evenings often spent reading and listening to music by the indoor or outdoor fire pits. When time permits, they have enjoyed extensive travel both abroad and around our wonderful country. They love our great country having travelled through all states, from the Nullarbor up to the Pilbara, to Darwin or going to the iconic Birdsville Races, they have travelled down the red centre and up to the tablelands, to night diving on the Great Barrier Reef and down throughout Tasmania. They have chosen to return to Northeast Victoria to be closer to their family and friends enjoying all that the region has to offer.

Catherine has a wealth of experience having started her career in Local and State Government Community based roles, along with time in the Not-for-Profit community sector so understands the importance of the community spirit in regional areas. Before joining Yellow Brick Road catherine was the business owner of a project management company specialising in civil construction project with her partner.
