I hope I can encourage others to get behind an initiative that is all about building stronger communities…
This week, young people all over Australia will be celebrating National Youth Week. It’s a particularly special week for the PCYC, an organisation that YBR’s Mark Bouris is passionate about supporting. The PCYC plays a vital role in helping to build safer communities and giving young people a place to go where there is someone who cares for them.
What you may not know is that YBR Earlwood is also a proud supporter of the PCYC, and we show our support through sponsorship of PCYC Marrickville. At YBR Earlwood, we’re all about helping ordinary Australians achieve their financial hopes and dreams, just like the PCYC helps young people on the path to achieving their dreams. PCYC clubs also play an important role in enriching our communities, something that we’re passionate about too.
This National Youth Week, YBR Earlwood will be helping PCYC Marrickville to celebrate with a Bluelight Disco on 7th April. And for the second year running, we’re also lending a hand with PCYC Marrickville’s annual Time4Kids 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Time4Kids is the main fundraising activity for PCYC, where people from the community volunteer to be locked-up and bailed-out. We had such a great time at last year’s event: check out the video here.
