Mark Bouris

Mark Bouris AM - Executive Chairman

Mark Bouris has established a successful career from building disruptive businesses to challenge the market and provide smarter solutions for consumers.

Mark's current positions include Executive Chairman of Yellow Brick Road Group (ASX:YBR),  Chairman of the SME Association of Australia and Non-Executive Director of Sydney Roosters Football Club and Eastern Suburbs Leagues Club. He is also an Adjunct Professor for Banking & Finance and Business Law & Tax at UNSW Business School and works with the University to mentor tomorrow’s business leaders.

In 2015, Mark was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to the finance industry and tertiary education and has most recently acted as Chairman of the Taskforce into Digitisation of Small Businesses in Australia for the Australian Treasury.

Mark is the author of Wealth Wizard, The Yellow Brick Road to Your Financial Security, and What it Takes, and has recently created and produced a new TV show along with Channel 7 called The Mentor which aired in April this year and coincides with The Mentor podcast and Mentored.com.au.

 
Sean Preece

Sean Preece - Chief Risk Officer & Company Secretary

Sean Preece is the Chief Risk Officer and Company Secretary for the YBR Group. He has been with the YBR group for over 7 years and been in the financial services industry for over 25 years. Sean was a product of the junior management program with St George bank prior to working with groups such as Challenger, IOOF and Ord Minnett. Sean has extensive knowledge and expertise in both wealth and credit services.

 
Clive Kirkpatrick

Clive Kirkpatrick - General Manager, Lending & Distribution

Clive Kirkpatrick has over 30 years of experience in financial services both in Australia and offshore. Most recently he headed the mortgage broking business for the St George Banking Group brands. Prior to that, he was head of franchising at Rams Home Loans and worked in the financial planning division of Bankwest. Experienced in strategy formulation and execution, business management, sales management and people leadership. Clive has a generalist background with sound understanding of marketing, product development, legal and compliance supported by an MBA. Clive also has specialist knowledge and demonstrable capability in distribution.

 
Stephen McKenzie

Stephen McKenzie- Chief Operations Officer

Stephen is a Senior Executive with experience in leading teams across Operations, Customer Services, Finance and Risk Management. Upon joining the YBR Group in December 2018, Stephen is responsible for the support services provided to YBR and Vow Broker networks including lending credit and support, marketing, commissions, product and broker lifecycle.

Previously, Stephen held executive Operations and Finance roles in Aussie Home Loans. Prior experience includes the CFO at HIH Insurance (post liquidation appointment) and senior roles within BUPA (formally MBF). Stephen’s expertise includes delivering industry leading services to customer and mortgages brokers and well as driving process efficiencies through automation. Significant experience also been obtained in initiating and implementing strategies to grow the P&L of businesses including increasing customers, driving efficiency gains and improved product margins.

Stephen is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, as well as possessing further qualifications in Applied Finance and Investment and Mortgage Broking.

 
Rob Morton

Rob Morton - Head of Wealth

Rob has spent his career working in financial services. Over the last eight years he has worked for Yellow Brick Road, managing Investment Services and Operations for the boutique asset manager, Smarter Money Investments, and more recently as Head of Wealth for the company's financial advice business. Previously he worked as an Investment Director with Colonial First State Global Asset Management in the institutional investor segment across the property, Private Equity and Infrastructure asset classes. He spent twelve years with Macquarie Bank, working in their equities, structured equities, lending and property funds management businesses. With expertise in law, finance, financial markets, investor relations and superannuation he has experience in asset management, banking and in wealth management. He holds degrees in Commerce and Law and Diplomas in Superannuation Management, Financial Planning and Investor Relations. He Chairs the Investment Committee for our AFS Licensee. This broad experience across a number of successful asset management firms together with the related disciplines he has acquired, enable Rob to lead business units, assist with governance and to add value to the investment process.
