Diversified financial services company Yellow Brick Road has today announced the appointment of Adam Youkhana as General Manager of its wealth division.
According to executive chairman Mark Bouris, the role will lead Yellow Brick Road’s wealth management business with a focus on authorised representative recruitment, increasing the percentage of clients who received wealth advice and building wealth capability (product, service, quality advice).
“Adam brings 17 years of financial services experience to the company. This is a new role, reporting directly in to me, responsible for the end to end business of wealth management. This includes primary responsibility for our AFSL and the general advice and personal advice offers we have within the business,” Mr Bouris explained.
The role was created following the resignation of CEO Wealth Management Matt Lawler in July.
Mr Youkhana joins Yellow Brick Road from Westpac Banking Group, where he held senior roles for over six years, including most recently the Head of Partnerships and Private Banks for Financial Planning across Australia. Previously he was Head of Financial Advice and Investments for NAB Private Wealth overseeing both the strategic and business operations of their wealth management business.
“It is an absolute pleasure to be leading Yellow Brick Road’s wealth management through its next phase of growth and innovation,” Mr Youkhana said.
“At the heart of our strategy is the intention to build on our strength as a full service wealth management company and accelerate the growth of the financial advisory arm. The future is bright and we have good momentum.”
“It’s imperative we leverage from our strong brand, scale across branches and brokers and strength in our key geographies to accelerate wealth services revenue penetration,” he concluded.
Adam Youkhana formally commenced with the company Tuesday 6 September 2016.
